Our Beginning
It all started with a single vision: to bring authentic marco's pizza — the kind made with real love, hand-stretched dough, and the boldest toppings Buffalo had ever tasted — to 1085 Niagara Street. Marco Deluca opened the doors in 2008 with nothing but a family recipe, a second-hand oven, and an unshakeable belief that great food brings people together.
What began as a neighborhood pizzeria quickly grew into a community institution. Word spread from block to block, from kitchen tables to office break rooms. The marcos pizza difference wasn't a secret — it was simple: fresh dough every morning, locally sourced vegetables, premium cheeses, and sauces simmered from scratch daily.

Marco Deluca opens Marcos at 1085 Niagara St, Buffalo. Armed with a family pizza recipe, a wood-fired oven, and a dream to serve the best marco's pizza in Western New York.
Just three years in, Marcos wins Buffalo's Best Pizza award — the first of many. The community had spoken, and the word spread far beyond Niagara Street.
Overwhelming demand leads to a major kitchen renovation and expansion. New wood-fired ovens are installed, delivery capacity doubles, and the catering division launches.
Marcos goes digital with a new online ordering platform, making it easier than ever to enjoy our marcos pizza at home. Orders double overnight — literally.
During an incredibly tough year for Buffalo, Marcos donates thousands of pizzas to frontline workers, food banks, and families in need. Community over everything.
